Part of the Marching Illini's Three-In-One tradition. From the Daily Illini: "The Three in One is the traditional Marching Illini halftime performance. During the performance, the crowd stands and sings in unison. Previously, the “Three-in-One” coincided with the performance of Chief Illiniwek. During the singing of “Hail to the Orange,” students join arms and sway to the song.
