Organizations
NASA Planetary Defense Coordination Office (PDCO)
The PDCO is responsible for coordinating with other government agencies to develop National Preparedness Strategies, find and track NEOs, and provide early detection for PHOs.
Missions include the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) Mission, NEOWISE, and OSIRIS-REx.
JPL Center for NEO Studies (CNEOS)
CNEOS computes orbits of NEOs, predicts future motions, and assess impact hazards.
CNEOS designed the Sentry impact monitoring system to assess a range of possible orbits over hundreds of years and Scout to assess short term impact risks.
ESA Near Earth Object Coordination Center (NEOCC)
NEOCC is within the European Space Agency's Space Safety Program. NEOCC observes small Solar System bodies to assess their threat using orbit and impact monitoring.
NEOCC releases Riddles related to NEO observations.
International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN)
IAWN was estabilished to strengthen coordination of international responses to potential NEO threats.
Space Mission Planning Advisory Group (SMPAG)
SMPAG is an internatinoal collaboration to share research and information to prepare for international responses to potential NEO threats.
